Our tour offers a unique opportunity to witness the world of tennis, featuring access to the iconic Rod Laver Arena and other areas, where you can experience the intensity and passion of top-tier tennis firsthand. Alongside the on-court action, we explore the rich tapestry of Victoria’s landscapes, from the busy streets of Melbourne, to the charming coastal views of Phillip Island. This tour blends the exhilaration of professional sports with the beauty and cultural vibrancy of southeastern Australia, providing an unforgettable experience for tennis enthusiasts and travellers alike.
Day One – TUESDAY 14 JANUARY 2025
Our journey begins with the convenience of being picked up from home by a chauffeur-driven car, ensuring a comfortable start as we depart Adelaide.
Our first stop is at Tailem Bend for morning tea, offering a moment to stretch and enjoy some light refreshments.
Next, we continue to the Soul Cafe in Bordertown for a delightful lunch.
We then continue our travels east, with a brief comfort stop in Nhill to relax before the final leg of our journey.
In the late afternoon, we arrive at The Grampians Motel (03 4320 0957). After checking in and settling into our accommodations, we conclude our day with dinner at the motel’s restaurant, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Grampians. This relaxing evening sets the perfect tone for our exploration of the region’s natural wonders.
Day Two – WEDNESDAY 15 JANUARY 2025
Start the day with a hearty breakfast at The Grampians Motel before departing for another day of scenic exploration. Our journey continues with a relaxing morning tea in the historic town of Maryborough, providing a picturesque setting to enjoy the local charm.
We’ll then travel to Kyneton for lunch at the Country Cob Bakehouse, renowned for its delicious pastries, this stop offers a taste of regional Victoria’s best.
After lunch, we’ll make a brief visit to Mount Macedon, known for its stunning panoramic views and lush, expansive gardens. This serene stop allows us to embrace the natural beauty and tranquility of the area.
In the late afternoon, we check into the Atura Dandenongs (03) 9771 6000, our contemporary accommodation for the next four nights, nestled in the scenic Dandenong Ranges.
After some time to relax and refresh, we’ll gather for dinner at the hotel, enjoying a fine meal that caps off a day filled with natural wonders and local flavors.
Day Three – THURSDAY 16 JANUARY 2025
Begin your morning with breakfast, before departing for an exciting day at the tennis.
We depart the hotel and arrive at the prestigious Rod Laver Arena, where our RLA tickets grant us access to watch the thrilling day sessions – who knows who might step onto the main court. Named after the tennis legend Rod Laver, the arena is renowned for its electric atmosphere and state-of-the-art facilities, hosting not only the Australian Open but also major concerts and events. This iconic venue serves as a central hub for Melbourne’s vibrant cultural and sporting activities, offering an unparalleled experience of excitement and entertainment.
Melbourne Park also boasts a spectacular lineup of food and beverages, as well as live entertainment, ensuring a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.
After a day filled with top-tier tennis action and lively surroundings, we will depart in the afternoon and return to the Atura Dandenongs.
The evening will conclude with a leisurely dinner at the hotel, allowing everyone to share their favorite moments from the day and relax in comfort.
Day Four – FRIDAY 17 JANUARY 2025
The day kicks off with a delightful breakfast at the hotel fueling us for another exhilarating day at the tennis.
We’ll arrive again at Melbourne Park with Ground Pass tickets in hand, ready to immerse ourselves in the thrill of the game. Explore a world of entertainment across the AO precinct: Grand Slam Oval, Garden Square, Topcourt and more! You will also have access to the on the outdoor courts (subject to availability and scheduling).
Again, the tennis complex offers a fantastic array of food, beverages, and live entertainment, enhancing our experience with a vibrant atmosphere and top-notch amenities.
After a day rich in sports and excitement, we’ll depart in the afternoon and head back to the Atura Dandenongs.
The evening will wind down with a relaxing dinner at the hotel, providing a perfect opportunity to discuss the day’s highlights and enjoy each other’s company in a comfortable setting.

Day Five – SATURDAY 18 JANUARY 2025
Start your day with a nourishing breakfast, gearing up for an exhilarating outing to Phillip Island.
We embark on the Phillip Island Seal Cruise, a highlight for nature enthusiasts and anyone eager to connect with wildlife. This cruise takes us up close to Australia’s largest fur seal colony, where you can witness these magnificent animals frolicking and resting in their natural environment. The cruise not only offers an intimate look at the seals but also provides panoramic views of the stunning coastal scenery and informative commentary about the local marine ecosystem. Enjoy morning tea aboard the vessel as we soak in the breathtaking views and crisp sea air.
After our marine adventure, we visit the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory, a paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth. Here, you can indulge in a delicious lunch and browse through a diverse selection of handcrafted chocolates and confections. The factory is renowned for its innovative chocolate creations, and you’ll have the opportunity to see some of the chocolatiers at work, crafting edible masterpieces.
Upon returning to our accommodation in the late afternoon, take some time to unwind and freshen up before we gather for dinner. This evening provides a perfect opportunity to relax and share experiences from the day’s marine and culinary adventures, rounding off a day filled with natural wonders and delightful tastes.
Day Six – SUNDAY 19 JANUARY 2025
Start your day with an early breakfast, before saying farewell our hosts as we depart on a scenic drive to Sorrento. Upon arrival, enjoy a leisurely morning tea in this charming coastal town, setting the mood for a relaxing day ahead.
Next, we board the Searoad Ferry in Sorrento for a picturesque crossing to Queenscliff. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the coastline and a refreshing sea breeze.
Once in Queenscliff, savor a delicious lunch at a local cafe, experiencing the best of local cuisine in a quaint setting.
After lunch, we take a brief drive around Geelong, admiring the beautiful foreshore and getting a glimpse of the city’s highlights. A short comfort stop in Lismore allows us to stretch our legs before continuing our journey.
In the late afternoon, we check into the Comfort Inn Botanical (03) 5572 1855 in Hamilton, where we can relax and freshen up. The day concludes with a delightful dinner at the hotel, providing a
perfect end to a day filled with travel and discovery.
Day Seven – MONDAY 20 JANUARY 2025
Begin the final day with breakfast at the Comfort Inn Botanical, preparing for our journey back to Adelaide. After breakfast, we depart Hamilton and make our way to Penola for a pleasant morning tea, enjoying the tranquil surroundings one last time.
Lunch awaits us at the Keith Hotel, where we’ll have a delightful meal, offering a perfect midpoint for our day of travel.
As we continue our journey, a brief comfort stop at Tailem Bend gives everyone a moment to refresh before we complete our travels.
We arrive back at Adelaide in the late afternoon, concluding our tour. We are returned to our homes via courtesy cars. As we reflect on our journey, the excitement of the tennis events remains a vibrant highlight.
