DAY 1 | Wednesday 22 July 2026 | Welcome to Broome
Our exciting Broome getaway begins with chauffeur-driven pickups from home. It’s an early start, but this means our arrival in Broome is just after lunch, with a relaxing afternoon planned. At the airport, an Endeavour Tours representative will assist with security check-in and luggage, making the process seamless and hassle-free. We check in for our Qantas flight to Perth, enjoying the comfort of air travel as we journey across the country. Upon landing, we have a short layover before boarding our connecting flight. As we descend into Broome, we are greeted by the warm tropical air and stunning coastal scenery that make this destination so special. After collecting our luggage, we transfer to the Oaks Broome Hotel 1300 822 010 our accommodation for the next four nights. This stylish and comfortable hotel is ideally located, offering a relaxing retreat with modern amenities. We take the opportunity to familiarise ourselves with the surroundings,
including a short drive to Roebuck Bay Lookout, where we enjoy a gentle walk with breathtaking coastal views. This area is a haven for birdwatchers and the vibrant red cliffs against the blue waters make for a truly spectacular sight. This evening, we gather for a delicious welcome dinner at the hotel, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay in this remarkable destination.
DAY 2 | Thursday 23 July 2026 | Pearls, exploration and markets
After an early breakfast, we make our way to Willie Creek Pearl Farm, a fully operational pearl farm set amidst the stunning coastal scenery of the Kimberley. Here, we embark on a guided tour, gaining insight into the fascinating pearl culturing process, from seeding to harvesting, and learning about the craftsmanship behind these prized gems. Both morning tea and lunch will be enjoyed at Willie Creek Pearl Farm, allowing us to soak in the serene surroundings while savouring delicious local fare. Following our visit, we return to Broome for a relaxing afternoon of free
time. Take the opportunity to unwind by the pool, explore the town’s charming boutiques and galleries, or simply enjoy the laid-back pace of Broome at your leisure. You may also choose to take a leisurely stroll along the beach or experience Broome’s most famous attraction – a camel ride along the shoreline. Night markets in the tropics are always vibrant, and for those wishing to explore Town Beach markets, you won’t be disappointed. Wander the colourful local stalls under the stars, sample the tastes of Broome cuisine and listen to local live music.
DAY 3 | Friday 24 July 2026 | History, crocodiles and a sunset to remember
Today we set off for a unique guided tour with Broome Tramway Tours. As we explore, we learn about Broome’s multicultural heritage, the influence of its pearling industry, and its stunning natural landscapes. After morning tea we visit the Japanese Cemetery, a peaceful and historic site that serves as a tribute to the Japanese pearl divers who lost their lives working in Broome’s early pearling industry. As we walk through the rows of intricately carved headstones, we reflect on the incredible dedication and sacrifices made by these brave divers. Lunch is at The Mango Place, a tropical retreat surrounded by lush mango trees. This charming venue offers a taste of local produce, including refreshing mango-inspired treats, wines, and preserves. In the afternoon, we visit the Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park, a unique wildlife sanctuary that showcases some of Australia’s most formidable reptiles. We learn about these ancient creatures before witnessing an
exciting crocodile feeding demonstration – a thrilling highlight. After an adventure-filled afternoon, we return to our accommodation. Late afternoon, we make our way to the iconic Cable Beach, where we gather for dinner while watching the breathtaking sunset. After a stunning display, we return to our accommodation, refreshed and ready for another day of adventure.
DAY 4 | Saturday 25 July 2026 | Deep roots and golden horizons
We set off for a morning of exploration, starting with a visit to the Broome Historical Museum, where we uncover the town’s rich past. From its fascinating pearling history and wartime experiences to its multicultural heritage, the museum offers an engaging collection of exhibits that provide a deeper appreciation of Broome’s unique character. Following morning tea we make our way to the Pearl Luggers Museum. Here, we gain insight into the lives of early pearl divers and the incredible risks they took to harvest some of the world’s finest pearls. The museum’s exhibits, including restored pearling vessels and diving equipment, offer a captivating look into this remarkable industry. We enjoy lunch and at low tide, make our way to Gantheaume Point.
This stunning coastal location is famous for its striking red cliffs, which contrast beautifully against the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. We may even get a glimpse of the fossilised dinosaur footprints, estimated to be over 130 million years old. After freshening up at the accommodation, we embark on a spectacular Sunset Dinner Cruise. Relax aboard a luxury catamaran as we sail along the breathtaking coastline, enjoying a delicious dinner and watching the sky transform with shades of pink, orange, and gold. This unforgettable experience is the perfect way to take in Broome’s stunning scenery from the water.
DAY 5 | Sunday 26 July 2026 | Sands to skylines
After waking in this tropical paradise, we have a relaxed start to the morning. Following breakfast at Oaks Broome Resort, there will be time for a stroll along the beach or even the chance to pick up a last minute gift. Reflecting on our memorable stay in Broome, we make our way to Broome Airport. Our Endeavour Tours driver will be on hand to assist with check-in and luggage, ensuring a smooth departure as we prepare for our journey. We board our Qantas flight mid-morning, and enjoy one last aerial glimpse of this stunning coastal destination as we journey to Perth. Disembarking early afternoon, we are joined by a local guide who will take us on a tour of Western Australia’s capital. Known for its charm and hospitality, Perth has a pleasant mix of new and old architecture, elegant riverside parks and the beauty of the Swan River winding its way through the city. It is easy to see why so many people fall in love with this city. We make our way to the Metro Hotel Perth (Ph: 9367 6122) for our overnight stay. Located in south Perth, the accommodation provides wonderful view of the city and Swan River. After check-in there will be time to relax and freshen up before our final dinner together.
DAY 6 | Monday 27 July 2026 | Botanic gardens and bon voyage
After breakfast at the Metro Hotel we cross the river and make our way to Kings Park and Botanic Garden. The park and gardens are one of the largest inner-city parks in the world, covering 400 hectares. Featuring natural bushland as well as sculpted gardens, we have time to meander and enjoy a colourful display of native WA plants or take Federation Walkway to appreciate stunning views of the city skyline and Swan River. Following morning tea, we make our way to the Perth Airport and with the assistance of our driver, check-in for our Qantas flight home to Adelaide.
By early evening, we touch down in Adelaide, where our chauffeur-driven cars are ready to pick us up. As we journey home, we reflect on the incredible experiences of our time in Broome – exploring the rich pearling history, witnessing breathtaking sunsets over Cable Beach, encountering vibrant wildlife, and immersing ourselves in the stunning landscapes of this coastal paradise.
